• Mike Ressler

    CEO and Founder

    Mike is an athlete, nerd, coach, husband and a very newly minted father. He is originally from East Brunswick, New Jersey (Go Bears!), where he was a co-captain of a two time state champion volleyball team. His love of computers took him to Stanford University for a summer course and inspired him to create his own discrete mathematics course to be offered at his high school. Mike graduated from Carnegie Mellon University (Go Tartans!) in 2.5 years with a degree in Computer Science. While at CMU, Mike was the assistant coach of the women's volleyball team and president of the men's club team. His unusual mix of nerd and coach has led him to create StatEasy to solve both his statistical needs as a nerd and his video review needs as a coach.

  • Tom Matta

    COO and Co-Founder

    Tom is passionate about people, technology, and building great products. He was a thrower on his high school and college track and field teams (Fort LeBoeuf HS in Waterford PA, and Carnegie Mellon University), before graduating and switching to endurance training and bikram yoga. Tom graduated from CMU with a bachelors in materials science and engineering and an MBA in 5 years, and attended the Travel Channel Filmmakers Academy in 2009. After graduation he worked with a funded start-up and top-10 consulting firm before meeting Mike, and deciding to pursue the dream of helping people share life through digital video.

  • Chris Shoff

    Lead Developer

    Chris is a software engineer and all-around technology enthusiast. He graduated from Waynesburg University in 2005 with a degree in Digital Media and Computer Science. After co-founding a Morgantown-based marketing and advertising company, Chris began working closely with Mike at a Pittsburgh software company as a Senior Software Engineer. He would later follow Mike to StatEasy in 2012. Chris enjoys hacking and tinkering with code to create software solutions that simplify people's lives. He also enjoys camping, bowling, craft beer, reading and film.

  • Stephen Reed

    Director of Sales

    Steve heads up the sales and marketing department for StatEasy, providing all the basics for coaches interested in StatEasy. A former track and field decathlete, Steve is obsessed with any and all things involving the outdoors and physical activity: running, frisbee, basketball, tennis, football, soccer, softball, golf, biking, tree climbing, etc. Steve obtained his BSBA in Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh.
